April is National Stress Awareness Month

by | Apr 22, 2022 | Uncategorized

Most of us are under a certain degree of constant stress. It’s almost considered “normal” in this day and age. Life is unpredictable and we certainly can’t avoid all stressful situations. However, it’s the chronic stress that we endure in our lives that is the most dangerous. When our bodies, and minds as well, don’t ever get a chance to relax and repair and are constantly in a state of stress things break down. We develop chronic illnesses, we turn to addictions, we have paralyzing anxiety. Spend some time this month thinking about your level of stress and ways you can begin to reduce it. Eat more nutritious foods. Increase your exercise. Talk to somebody about your anxiety and depression. Start a healthy habit such as halotherapy, meditation, or yoga. Just do something different!
